Inspired by the iconography of a sacred, burning heart ~ a fire of love.
A hand-carved and sculpted frame heart and stylized flames. Cast in recycled bronze with an antiqued patina, set with a hand-painted enameled flower on watery glass. (Hand-etched on the other side to create a floating dimension of depth to the flower.) Adorned with a moonstone teardrop bead.
(This glass is slightly thinner than my usual glass amulets and may be more fragile. Please wear & store with care.)
The fragilis folium sacred heart amulet measures @ 1 1/8 inches at widest, just over @ 2 1/4 inches long including moonstone, and hangs on a 21-inch, antiqued bronze/brass chain. Can be worn shorter.
